IMPORTANCE OF CLEAN WATER

The importance of clean water around the world  is proving each and every-time a child has to die, due to lack of clean water. As a high percentage of diseases are contaminated water, it is quite evident, that providing clean drinking water, will highly improve the mortality rate in high Ghana faces each and everyday.

70% of the diseases in the Ghana are due to lack of clean drinking water and sanitation, and has thus become a severe health concern. Cholera  is just one of  the life-threatening diseases a person can be infected with, which causes symptoms of diarrhea , from consuming unsafe water.

​​PCCOC realizes that in order to solv the poverty which faces these villages of Techiman ,Ghana, we first need to do our part in solving the current water and sanitation problem.

Decent drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene are all essential ingredients to ensure human health.
