Mission Project - Akrufi Water Well

Project:  Drill for water

Where: Akrufi, Ghana

Objective: To provide clean drinking water to the Village of Akrufi and surrounding communities

When: 2016

Status: Successfully Completed

This water well has already helped tremendously.  The residents of the village of Akrufi had to walk a two hour round trip to get all the water they would need for the day (cooking, washing clothes, bathing, and drinking).  The local farmers could not bring enough water to ensure crop survival.  A large portion of the water fetching burden fell to the children who were unable to go to school as a result.
